5 essential hair care products for perfect hair

Wouldn’t it be fabulous to wake up in the morning with perfect hair? Unfortunately, as much as we wish for it, it is not possible to look flawless without doing anything. Keeping your coiffure looking good requires a little bit of effort. Unlike celebrities, we regular women have to spend hours styling our hair for the rest of the day. The good news is, however, that you do not have to break the bak to look fabulous when you when you walk out the door. The following hair products really make a difference, so make sure to include them on your shopping list.

  1. Shampoo

Shampoos contain ingredients that work by eliminating dirt, sebum, and pollutants. Although there are many women who claim that they do not ever use shampoo and that their locks never looked better, you should think twice before believing such claims. By using shampoo your hair will not look excessively greasier, neither will you instantly have thick locks. Any brand will cleanse your locks, but you should select one that is formulated for your type. If you have curly locks, for instance, you should not be shampooing with a product which is formulated for women with normal strands. The point is that you have to buy a shampoo that meets the needs of your hair. To really make your coiffure shine, try alternating a moisturising shampoo with a volumising one and avoid blow drying.

Conditioner

A good conditioner will give you more volume, not to mention that it will detangle your locks. A conditioner may seem like an unnecessary expense, but unless you have fine baby hair you will need one. If your strands break right at the root, it is recommendable to purchase a conditioner. But what kind? There are two main types of conditioners: rinse-out and leave-in. Your best bet is the leave-in conditioner. Experts say that it will nourish your locks and that it will protect them against the damage typically caused by brushing or blow drying. There is, however a catch. Use the conditioner before applying the shampoo. This reverse washing technique gives incredible results.

  1. Oils

Just about every woman should be using oil. Oils are the beauty favourites for good reasons. They polish the ends and combat common problems, such as frizz and thinning. Massaging your hair with moisturising oil will give it a lot of shine, so you will be able to regain whatever you have lost during curling or straightening treatments. The reason why oils are so beneficial is that they contain fatty acids which provide your strnads the nourishment that they need. You can use oils to make your strands softer or whenever you want to refresh your style.

  1. Boar bristle brush

The rule of thumb is the following: to have a healthy mane, you need to use the highest quality brush. A high quality brush, like a boar bristle brush, is an investment worth making. It will make your locks look shiny and healthy, effect which you cannot usually achieve without styling products. In addition to the styling benefits, boar bristle brushing will stimulate blood flow to the follicles, thus stimulating growth. While a brush with natural boar bristles is pricey, you can find affordable alternatives.

  1. Styling products

If you want a thicker mane, then you should use a spray which can create instant fullness. Thickening sprays are formulated to lift your locks and give the illusion of thicker strands. Another product worth considering is styling crème. The miraculous styling crème protects your colour and, most important, provides moisture. Use the crème any time you want more definition. Last but not least, you will need a hairspray in your arsenal. You should look for a formula that cannot only nourish your mane, but also repair it.
